Team of researchers

Brains On-Line is directed by one of the pioneers of microdialysis: Dr Ben Westerink. Our well-trained and experienced associates have continued to develop and improve new experimental techniques to measure neurotransmitters and exogenous compounds in the CNS. For our pharmacokinetic studies to keep up with the latest insights in quantitative microdialysis, this research by our in-house experts in collaboration with several well established international academic researchers. These researchers have extensive experience with pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies, in particular related to the penetration of compounds into the brain across the blood-brain barrier, and also across the brain-csf barrier. Within Brains On-Line we employ a number of specialists for behavioral testing and/or electrophysiological testing of central nervous system related compounds.
